I overthink,
so your users
don't have to.
Hi, I'm Arthur. I worry about the complicated stuff — emissions data, legal workflows, a mirror in a shopping mall — until it feels simple to the people using it.
I took the scenic route here, through art direction, motion and graphic design, and I loved every detour. These days I'm at SINAI, making climate software friendlier and quietly teaching our design process to work with AI. My mother still thinks I fix computers.
See what I've been up to00 By the numbers (I checked twice)
- Experience 15yrs of designing things. Posters first, then motion, then software. A long, happy detour.
- Retention · Doris 77%+ of shoppers stayed with our in-store AI mirror to the very end. Most people can't finish a conversation with me.
- Time · Doris 5→2min shaved off the same experience. Nobody should stand in front of a mirror that long. Trust me.
- Clarity · Yuca 77.7% of renters finally noticed what their rent included. The rest, I assume, are still scrolling.
- Range 6fields Climate, legal, retail, health, fashion and public sector. I get curious. It's a condition.
- AI-first · SINAI 1st designer at SINAI to make AI part of the everyday craft. Somebody had to go first, so I volunteered. Nervously.

Each of these came with its own little wall: an old system, a stubborn camera, data nobody could read. I never climbed one alone, so here's what we figured out together.

From emissions data to decisions
Helping sustainability teams turn mountains of emissions data into real decisions, and teaching our design process to work alongside AI. Three stories in one: anomalies, workflows and a lot of polishing.

An AI mirror that keeps people in front of it
A virtual try-on that left the screen and moved into a real store. We taught it gestures, calmed down the camera, and turned an awkward 40-second wait into something people enjoyed.

A design system, one person deep
LexDoor's interface and its design system, built from scratch at the same time by one slightly over-caffeinated person. Tokenized, synced with code, on a 7px grid inspired by a very round font.

The rent wasn't high. It was unread.
People thought the rent was too high. Really, they just couldn't see everything it included. A little reordering, and suddenly the price made sense.

Making DIA's apps feel at home
Two apps for Supermercado DIA: a delivery app born in Russia that had to learn Portuguese, and a coupons app rebuilt without a single new API.

02 About

“Fifteen years in, I still can't walk past a badly kerned sign without saying something.”
I came to product the long way: web design, video editing, motion, creative direction, graphic design. I wouldn't trade a single detour. They're why I'm curious, a little restless, and quick to try things before I've finished worrying about them.
Social Sciences taught me to listen before I draw. Years of working in English, Portuguese and Spanish taught me to be the gentle voice in a room full of opinions, speaking up for the one person who's never there: the user.
